[gnu.g++.bug] g++1.35.1 gets segv

rpj@redcloud.cad.mcc.com (Rich Johns) (08/04/89)

environment = SUN3/60, g++1.35.1, sunOS 4.0.1

Micheal, sorry I don't have a piece of code that reproduces this. I
get the segmentation violation compiling InterViews. Since you probably have
access to IV source code the following may be sufficient info. I was
compiling libInterViews, the very first file 'X11.c'. If I take away
the -O it compiles.

compiling ../X11.c
rm -f X11.o
g++ -finline-functions -fchar-charconst -c     -I.. -I../Generated -I../../.././src -I../../.././src/InterViews/Std -O  ../X11.c
In method struct Pattern *Pattern::Pattern (int *):
../X11.c:1890: Segmentation violation

Hope this helps.
