We just received several hp9000s300 upon which I attempted to install g++ 1.35.1 using gcc 1.35 and libg++1.35.0 the gcc uses gas and binutils and seems to work properly. g++ seems to work, but I can't get helloworld to work - the executable just returns immediately. In stepping through it with gdb, the global constructors and destructors seem to be called and the put method in the stream code seems to be called, but nothing appears. I would certainly appreciate hearing from anyone who has already solved this problem; I seem to recall seeing messages about it sometime back, but not having HPs then seems to have affected my attention. :-) Thanks in advance.
