[gnu.g++.bug] GNU ld.c on Convex C240

Hi,

  We recently obtained an Convex C240 at our university.  I'd be
interested in knowing whether anyone has ported GNU ld to the Convex.
If so, could you please let me know?  I'd like to install g++, and
would prefer not having to reinvent a rather large wheel!
