Subject: Compiling ET++ with g++

The test release of GNU C++, GNU C++ 1.36.0, has most of the changes
needed to compile a modified ET++.  ET++ needed to be modified because
it contained a number of cfront 1.2-specific features, not all of
which are implemented in GNU C++, or for that matter, implemented in
cfront 2.0.
