If you can show me a tube that will expell a high powered missile at your command, and can easily fit in your hand, I'm sure the creators will be happy to change it to a tube of missiles. In the meantime, I think we still need for it to be magic. However, does anyone know how the damage done by a wand of m.m. compares to other weapons? -Will Doolittle alias the Headhunter ...sdcsvax!sdchema!will

A wand of magic missile is NOT the same as a wand of submachin gun. For one thing, the wand of SMG will not be available 'til vers. 5.3. For another, the magic missile stick does far less damage, only 1d4 a shot, which is comparable to the damage done by a slung rock. For the pure, clean joy of spattering monsters you are better off with a stick of hot or cold, 6d6. It's like wielding two 2-handed swords at once, and almost as dangerous. Are some weapons better against certain monsters then others? Does your strength or experience have any effect on the sticks ability to kill?
