Just a few observations: 1. <minor SPOILER> : Concerning the question about rust monsters weakening your leather armor... This is true in some versions of rogue and not in others... sorry, I don't know which do what. 2. In general, the questions which have been asked through this group have often depended on which version you have... Like the bug which trapped players on a level with no stairway down. If you have a copy of the manual, you will note under BUGS, the entry "probably infinite". 3. From the old letter quiz, I know a monster from a different game which would cause some grief... the WUMPUS. And for you folks who think all monsters cant come on certain levels... dont forget the wand of polymorph: I once died on a middle level by polymorphing something to an Umber Hulk, then to a Mimic, trying in vain to create a monster I could handle.
