Here's the scenario: I'm at level ten, fighting with a once-enhanced two-handed sword, 70+ hp, 10 exp and 3 strength. I have 3 rations of food, a ring of slow digestion on each hand, and the monster generation rate appears to be one new monster every 25-50 turns. I've been stting on top of the exit now for quite a while, dispatching monsters as they poke up their heads in an attempt to raise my exp level as high as possible. Occasional encounters with ants have dropped my strength level to 3 (no restore strength potions available...rats!). Is it worth the time to stay here (apparently as long as I want - I've been here long enough to go from exp 8 to exp 10 and haven't gotten hungry yet), or should I proceed?
