In version 5.2, it is well known that, when entering a room with
an orc and a pile of gold, the orc will move towards the gold.
Here is a cute item people may not be aware of. If you are between
the orc and the gold, the orc goes under you! He does not hit you; he
simply 'disappears' when he (she?) would move on top of you, and
re-appears on the other side. Of course, if the orc is under you, and
you move towards the gold, the orc stays under you until you get the
gold. Then, the orc appears in the previous space and attacks.
It's very funny, and well worth the 3 hit points taken when the
orc attacks.
