[gnu.chess] gnuchess-1.53

I have gnuchess-1.53 running on a IBM-RT under BSD-4.3 and X11R2.
At many games, I get the following error message:

    'Error: parse_imove: piece of wrong color!"

Does anybody knows what is going on?
