[net.games.rogue] superimposed tombstone

We had the same thing happen (vers. 5.2). Someone got killed, but the top
ten list didn't appear - it just said

         Top ten adventurers
         rank  score  name

or whatever. Turned out the score file had been munched and had to be 
removed. The save file remained, and when started showed the death scene
(treasure room on level 17) superimposed on the tombstone, hit points = -1.
He got killed again, started the save file, hit points = -13. He did this
5 or 6 times, had -67 hp, and lost 10% of his gold each time!! Eventually
it said "Save file out of date."

We have also had a serious problem with rogue hanging (which it does 
occasionally) on dial-in lines late at night. In one case, it hung, and
nothing could get any response. He tried calling in again, but kept getting
the same port! It ran all night at great expense.

As a final rogue nasty, the version of 5.2 we got had a missing "close(kmem);"
in the load average section in mach_dep.c - didn't work too well.
