[ filterer's note: I don't know but will ask rms to look into it. -len ] Forwarded-For: cohesive!kla!serendip!pat@sun.com The recent flurry of concern over the effects of the US adoption of the Bern convention has caused be to wonder if the new modular GNU General Public Licence could be applied to documents; and if not, would the GNUrus at FSF be willing to publish a modified version (the GNU General Document Licence ?) for that purpose? The goal would be to make it possible to include a simple notice in e-mail, network news postings, and other small electronic documents which would provide a clear indication of re-distribution, storage, and use rights of the recipient. (See examples in headers and signature. Either should suffice.) -Pat --- Reply to address below - DO NOT auto-route --- Copyright (c) 1989 PM Lashley under the terms of the GNU General Public Licence PMLashley ...{sun | megatest | sts | zygot}!cohesive!kla!pat KLA Instruments Corp.
