#R:ucbarpa:-250600:uicsovax:11400018:000:251 uicsovax!hamilton Nov 14 05:39:00 1982 an alternative: exchange the semantics of H/J/K/L and fh/fj/fk/fl. i almost never use the current shifted directions, but i use f* all the time. reaching for the control key (instead of the shift key) is only marginally better than reaching for 'f'.

#R:ucbarpa:-250600:uiucdcs:9500087:000:166 uiucdcs!bcase Nov 15 00:23:00 1982 One vote in favor. This would also satisfy my request for implementation of F (same as f; I often type FH, etc.). And you could even keep f for a while or ever....
