I have an Encore Multimax running UMAX 4.2 R3.3.0. I'm running gnus
3.11, nntp 3.8, under emacs 18.52. The 'rn kit version' is 4.3, and
the nntpd version is 1.5. rnews seems to read and post fine, rn and
postnews work, and reading news with gnus works great. Unfortunately,
posting an article with gnus results in a job-maximum number of
processes of a mix of nntpd and inews and a locked-up emacs saying
"posting to USENET" in the minibuffer. Also, there are a pile of
/tmp/rpost<nnnn> files, all complete, owner news, with my attempted
posting.
gnus-your-domain "wpi.edu"
gnus-nntp-server (concat "wpi." gnus-your-domain)
Can someone please tell me what error I have made to cause posting to
fail?
