A few months ago, there was some discussion of a problem with version 3.12 of gnus: if you are reading a large newsgroup, when you get to the end of it, the pointer in the subject buffer suddenly goes back to somewhere near the beginning and it's a nuisance to read the last article or two in the group. I was away for a while, and I never found out whether a fix was suggested, but since I haven't heard anyone complaining about this for a while, I assume one was. Could someone tell me what it is? Please note that there is a similar problem with gnus when you
retrieve a newsgroup that you have a kill file for. I haven't seen
any fixes on this one either.
