Any help with this problem will be greatly appreciated. When I start up gnus, a set of new newsgroups will be subscribed to. Then I 'u' the ones I don't want to read. I exit gnus. The next time I enter, gnus tells me New newsgroup, subscribing to X, where X includes all the groups I unsubscribed. What am I doing wrong? Thanks, Sue susan@beppe.ericsson.se Susan J.
