[gnu.emacs.gnus] Unsubscribing problem

susan@beppe6.ericsson.se (Susan Cohen) (02/27/90)

Any help with this problem will be greatly appreciated.
When I start up gnus, a set of new newsgroups will be subscribed to.
Then I 'u' the ones I don't want to read. I exit gnus. The next
time I enter, gnus tells me New newsgroup, subscribing to X, where X
includes all the groups I unsubscribed. What am I doing wrong?

				Thanks,

You might have left GNUS by C-xC-c instead of `q' ing out.
