This is the status of the fs programmes as of this afternoon, for those
who are interested.
fsuucp: version C still has 2 bugs left to fix, and is now the priority.
I have given up making any predictions of when they will be taken care of,
as each prediction falls short. Rest assured that they WILL be taken care
of, as quickly as possible.
fsbbs: The kernal has passed beta testing validation, and the board will
be going back up late tonight (Monday night). All appliations are now in
final beta, and the system will be released First Quarter '90.
Inquiries should be sent to "cambler@polyslo.calpoly.edu" until further
notice (while fsuucp is down). If you are calling fsbbs for a version of
fsuucp, please don't waste your $$$, as the B version is no longer supported
with all of it's bugs. Please wait for the C version.
I keep telling people this, and i hope i'm not making any enemies. The whole
idea here is to have a SHAREWARE and INEXPENSIVE uucp/usenet package for
the PC, and i am doing the best i can. It WILL eventually be bug free, but
this IS just a hobby undertaking, so PLEASE be patient with my progress, I'm
not doing this for profit (fame, maybe, but not profit :-)).
