All of these questions were answered months ago. In any event, for you new people who DON'T want to discover anything on your own, i wanted to elaborate a little on one of the more popular questions: remove curse scrolls. These only remove the curse from items you are currently using, not stuff in your pack. If you know you are about to read a remove curse scroll, and you have any untried weapons, rings or armor, try them now.
