[net.games.rogue] staff of anti-matter

Does anyone know what a staff of anti-matter is????
I used it on a monster and it seemed to freeze the game. I couldn't
do anything. I finally had to break out. The version of the game I have
is called Super Rogue 7.2. It might have local modifications.
