Finally, I can quit playing rogue forever, because I won't be able to ever improve upon this: Level: 100; Gold: 31315; Hp: 159; Str:18/100; Ac: -4; Exp: 20/3279220 Final score: 32315 (< 32756). My final score is not impressive, until I mention that: PDP 11/70's can only count 15 bits of gold, and my purse showed -32503 after I picked up some gold on level 58. 39 levels later, I had to stop amassing gold so that I would not go negative again. At that point, my greatest fear was that the way to level 100 (a nice round number) would not be impeded by gold at a critical doorway. Game time exceeded 5 hours. I hope that I have satiated this particular appetite forever. PS. A bug -- when my score went negative, the next item I found was erroneously "identified" for me (a ring of slow digestion), and duplicated in my pack!
