I'm asking this for someone who has to decide what PC network they will use in a trade school. The intention is to teach a course on or using a PC network. It is also desirable to make use of the network to get real work done, but the primary use will be teaching. The question is - what do people recommend. Novell is well known and would be relevant, since it is used widely and the students would benefit from this when looking for a job. However, there are alot of other issues including speed, ease of use, cost, supported software, upgradability and other things. Please email responses. Any info is appreciated.
