A friend of mine was in the process of being perminantly transfixed by a floating eye while he was wearing a ring of teleportation. He got teleported away and was still transfixed. I have had this recurring nightmare about floating eyes. I finally am on my way up from level 26 with the amulet of Yendor in hand. I make it to level 2 and read a scroll of aggravate monster or enter a treasure room and get perminantly transfixed by an eye. I think that this should be chnged or floating eyes shouljd only occur on high levels and be worth some large amount of hit points (more than dragons since they can kill you in all cases) -Ron ((mitccc!ronnie)
