buffered? The man for PC-NFS says that rsh does not support interactive applications, and this is true, but telnet does. The ultimate goal is to get our PC users to access Unix mail from the server (Sun 3/260) without initiating a telnet session. I have tried other alternatives, such as NFS mounting the mail directory and writing a PC mail program, but it has some flaws. It seems that rsh almost does what I need, if I force mail to use interactive mode through the socket. But then the pager also needs to be forced, and using any screen based editor definitely bombs.
