[comp.protocols.nfs] DataEase on PC NFS

We will soon be installing IBM's version of 4.3 Unix on our
IBM RT (which includes NFS) and are also contemplating the
installation of PC NFS on our IBM PC workstations.

In addition to printer sharing and file transfer, we wish to
run network versions of MS-DOS programs such as DataEase,
which claims to work on "any network that supports MS-DOS 3.1
network functions".

my question:  Will a program like DataEase run over PC NFS,
or will we have to also run network software such as 3Com?
