[comp.protocols.nfs] NFS Benchmarking

neil@gid.co.uk (Neil Todd) (07/18/89)

For various reasons I'm interested benchmarking techniques for NFS. I'm
aware of the paper in the last Usenix (although I haven't got a copy yet).
Are there any other references ? Is there any software about (DON'T post it
to me at this stage, just tell me about it).

Thanks.

Eek! I have the wrong phone number for MIPS. It's (415) 366-3600.
The
number I gfave is for Unix World. Sorry for the misteak.

The July issue of MIPS magazine has some NFS benchmarks. (415)

Disclaimer: I wrote the NFS article, though I didn't do the benchmark
part.
