A couple of comments:

(1) I thought that the "getpwent" library routine should hide this
   detail from the application. I guess I misheard...

(2) Anyone who's hacked the source to PCNFSD: PLEASE mail me a copy so that
   we can roll all of the versions into a single source for public
   distribution.
