[comp.protocols.nfs] Why no '-h' argument for /etc/mount?

rkd@cci632.UUCP (Ray Downes) (11/21/89)

On our version of NFS (under ICL/CCI SysV) as well as a nearby SPARC
workstation, the current version of umount has the VERY handy '-h'
(host) argument.

Is there a reason that mount does not have this capability - sure
seems that it would come in handy during system shutdown/reboots.

Apologies if this subject has been discussed before, ad-nausium.
