Pardon me for disturbing what seems to be a newsgroup full of experienced rogue players, but I have a few simple questions that I would appreciate getting some answers for. 1) Is there a help manual for rogue better than the one page "explanation" in my UNIX 5.0 book? 2) How are arrows (or other projectiles) shot? Are they thrown? Does one need to be wielding a bow to throw them accurately? 3) Does running (or moving) into a monster imply that the monster is being hit with the weapon in hand, or is there some way to swing the weapon, a la ADVENTURE's 'hit him with the mace'?
