I had a good one happen today: 1) user warm reboots(or cold boots) a PC/NFS client machine 2) at passwd prompt hits a <ctrl-c> 3)gets right in. WHen that user goes to access their drive(in this case, H:) and put a fil there, the file gets owned by -2. 1) This should not happen 2) PC/NFS(and a NFS limitation) seem to allow this to happen. 3) I do *not* have my exports file as: filesystem -anon=0 any guesses?? -- Steven C.
