Has Anyone succeeded in running Windows3 from a pc-nfs networked drive... Windows 2xx worked fine but 3 seems to come up with an empty program manager, and any attempt to run an application comes back with an error 'Too many files open'. Any Ideas... j creek

To change this you need to add a /f20 (for 20 files) switch on the PCNFS.SYS load in the CONFIG.SYS file: DEVICE=c:\nfs\PCNFS.SYS /f20 Windows 3 also supports a swapper disk, so this needs to be configured to use a local HD, perhaps.
