[comp.protocols.nfs] How to use packet drivers with PC-NFS?

ce1zzes@prism.gatech.EDU (Eric Sheppard) (09/21/90)

We're planning on getting 3Com 3C503 cards, in the hopes of establishing a
PC-NFS network. In the meantime, we have MS-Net/UB-Net1 software established.
How are machines with the Clarkson packet drivers configured (with either
system)? How does one get the protocol drivers working with the packet drivers?

Eric

You need to obtain nfs-kit. It contains the drivers for PC-NFS on either
a packet driver or NDIS driver.

I think it's archived on sun.soe.clarkson.edu.

Yes, in pub/ka9q as compat.zip, or compat.tar.Z (identical contents,
different packaging).
