Hi This problem has really got me curious. If I try to create a file of the form xxxx.~xx ie. a four letter filename and an extension beginning with a tilde. I get :- Access denied - F:XXXX.~XX If I change the length of the filename it will work. Obviously it has something to do with the filename translation PC-NFS performs and, I think, a conflict with the DOS eight character filename limit. Any ideas? Please post or email them. Have fun.. _______________________________________________________________________________ John. B. Miezitis.
