I have a problem using DESQview with QEMM386 and PC-NFS telnet. PC-NFS works fine with DESQview and QEMM, and telnet works OK with DESQview, but if I first load QEMM and then try to run telnet under DESQview I get a crash, and if I set the window memory protection to 3 I get the following message as soon as I try to run telnet: Protection violation attempted by program at address 650D:64EA. The program attempted to write into memory location 1000:8632, which is outside the program's memory space. Select: Abort Unprotect Continue This is without loading anything high, and I have the window set up correctly, running in foreground, not being swapped out, not sharing the processor. I checked with a debugger, and it does seem that telnet is writing to 1000:8632. I think this must be causing the problems. Isn't this somewhere in extended memory (converted to expanded by QEMM)? Why would telnet be doing that? Any solutions? DESQview is version 2.31.
