On the subject of screen sizes for rogue: quite a while ago - like over a year - and on an early rogue - 3.?, I think - I tried a PT-100 (Plessey's copy of the VT-100) in 132 column mode, setting TERMCAP for the wide mode (I think "vt100w" is used instead of "vt100"). Now THAT is rogue at its worst! Rooms not connected to passages, moving down non-existent paths, walking "through" walls. In all, a most un-playable game, but fun to see for a time or two... what, ME "rogue"? keithe at teklabs
