Please forgive me if these question have been asked before.
Since most of our lab's computer have a hard drive, we don't have problem
running windows along with PCNFS. But, I have been wondering if anybody in the
netland have sucessfully run WIN3 off a PCNFS network drive? I did try to
copy all the windows' files to the Network drive( since I can't tell window
installation program that I have a PCNFS network.), and window doesn't like it.
It complained that kernel.??? not found etc.
My second problem is that NET command since to conflict with Windows. The
computer crash OCCASIONALLY when I use a lot of NET command while running
command.com from Windows. The system will gaurantee crash if I run command.com
using a .PIF file which uses window-mode ( instead of full-screen mode. ).
Any help/comment is appreciated. Thanks!
