I'm getting ready to evaluate some file servers, and was wondering if anybody out there had documented a few good things to look at. I have tools like nhfsstone, nfswatch etc. etc. What I'd like to see are procedures or test suites to put these things through their paces? I'm also interested in applying these to specialized servers like the Auspex. Email your responses to me. If there are enough interested people, I'll summarise to the net.
