I just received this bulk mailed item from Ken Arnold. I assume a large number of others have also. It asks for a response. I expect that I am speaking not only for myself but also for many others when I point out that the correct uucp return address is not completely obvious. ...!ucbvax!UCBINGRES.arnold seems like a good candidate, but the mail system at Berkeley is like a black hole: nothing ever seems to come back. Could someone help us out? #R:idis:-21000:ucbcad:7700010:000:615 ucbcad!ingres Jun 11 11:19:00 1983 If you can get to ucbvax, you can just mail ucbvax!arnold. However, mail to ucbvax!ucbingres!arnold should get through. I am not responsible for the mail system here, but it generally seems to work as well as anywhere else. Ken P.S. You with arpanet connections can send to me at arnold@berkeley P.P.S. I am only using this account temporarily. Mail to this account will get to me, but I recommend using my real account name. Also, I read notes on ucbmonet, which is why things tend to come from there, but some people have had problems mailing to that address. Just use ucbvax!arnold and it will work fine.
