I am trying to establish a CDROM network using PCNFS on the user side, SOSS on the CDROM server machine, and TCP/IP as the network protocol. Has anyone else implemented, or planning to implement, a similar design? (or is this folly?) At present, I am sometimes encountering "rubbish" when running the Silverplatter CDROM search software. I suspect that the problem is with either PCNFS or SOSS being unable to cope with record pointers in Large Files. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
