I would like to try to determine the rate of requests for a given, specific, mount point on my system (SGI IRIX 3.3.1) via some sort of software statistics gathering. I've taken a look at the FM, but I see nothing that would help me do that. Can anyone suggest a program or some code that might speak to this question? My last resort would be a long, data gathering run, and analysis of tcpdump. But that would be "less than elegent."
