[net.games.rogue] a bug in rogue

I don't know if this has been mentioned here before or not, but here is
a little trick in rogue 5.2:

After you get killed, the screen clears and a prompt appears that says
something like "Hit return for scoreboard". At this point, hit ctl-Z and
interrupt the game.

Now send the game a "kill -9" [Hangup signal]. This ends the game and
causes the game to write out the save file, EVEN THOUGH YOU'VE BEEN KILLED.

Now you can start the game up again. You will have lost the gold penalty
for dying and you will still have negative hit points. However, you won't
be "killed" again until you are hit by a monster. So you can run away,
heal yourself, or whatever.

This only works about 5 times or so for any particular game.
