I am working with CAT program to teach pascal in Helsinki Univercity of
Technology. I am using a macintosh and authorware professional for mac.
Is there anyone that could give me any tips, information sources samples
etc. Specially the pedagogical cuidelines and help for use of colors
and display planning and userinterface would be nice.

Although a few years old now, Jesse Heines' book "Screen Design Strategies
for Computer-Assisted Instruction" (Digital Press, isbn 0-932376-28-2)
addresses many of the issues you raised. A more recent book, addressing the
user interface issues, is C. M. Brown's book. Lin's book is titled
"Human-Computer Interface Design Guidelines" and was published by Ablex in
1988 and is isbn 0-8939-332-4.
