Thumb your nose at a bone devil. Wield a wand and walk into a magic pool. Wield nothing and walk into a pool. Attack a cocatrice and watch your body turn to stone. Drop something while standing in a pool. Watch a +2,+2 long sword rust away to -2,-1. Wonder what to do with a "bastard sword". Bash Purple Worms with a +2,+3 two-hand sword when your armor class is -1. I had a good start on it when a vampire appeared; (Run for the door!)
