By accident, I discovered that you can obtain a "virtual javelin." Buy a javelin, and when you have to respond to how many, type 0. You will told that it costs nothing, but it will be in your inventory of items. Then, regardess of the number of times that you throw it, it still continues to remain in your inventory. Yes - it does kill monsters. The only way you can get rid of it is to drop it. One cuation - unless you "pick" the clones of the virtual javelin that missed the monster which was your target, your FINAL wealth is decreased by the cost of each of the javelin clones that you fail to pick up. Could be costly (you can end up with a negative amount on your tombstone!) If you want to cheat, here's one for you. I don't use it anymore but had some fun seeing what I could do with the thing. j.r.
