I am told by some of the original principals that MYRIAS RESEARCH CORPORATION, of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, wound up business at 09:30 hrs, 1990.10.26. As their first Chief Engineer and one of the original members of the board of directors, I find this regrettable due to the blood, sweat and tears that all of us originally put into the company. It is to their credit that they were able to survive as long as they did, especially after terminating their association with the system architect (my friend and co-founder of Myrias) who had come up with the idea for the Myrias 4000 SuperComputer, Colin Broughton.
