After a bit of soul searching (and dusting of cobwebs from the brain case :-) I noticed that gcc-1.24 was producing two symbols that had the same name when using the "-g" option. Thus this seems to be a problem with gcc! Sorry for the scare or confusion. -Allan G. Schrum
