A question for all rogues. Can anyone out there give me a
pointer to (or even better, does anyone happen to have a mailable
copy of) the Guide to the Dungeons of Doom or any other explanatory
material on rogue. I've been staggering around the dungeon for
some time, bashing indiscriminately into monsters, picking up all
manner of neat weapons which I have no idea how to put to good use,
reading scrolls which often create more nasties than I can deal with,
etc. I haven't the time to spend hours figuring EVERYTHING out from
scratch, and could really use a little background and/or some
suggestions. There have been some hints on the net, but I find I
sometimes don't even know enough to understand the hints.
I would greatly appreciate any assistance the net can offer. By
the way, I'm not sure what version of rogue is being run locally,
but ANY information is better than nothing.
