[gnu.gcc.bug] Installation Problems gcc-1.35 Sun 3/50 SunOS3.5

brode@csmil.umich.edu (Jon Brode) (06/07/89)

I've been trying to install gcc 1.35 on my Suns for about 3 weeks now.
I've installed previous versions with no problems, but this is what
happens when I attempt to compile gcc with itself. Any ideas, anyone?
(output of `make CC=stage1/gcc CFLAGS="-g -O -Bstage1/"` follows

stage1/gcc -g -O -Bstage1/ -I./config -DSTANDARD_STARTFILE_PREFIX=\"/usr/local/src/gnu/lib/\" -DSTANDARD_EXEC_PREFIX=\"/usr/local/src/gnu/lib/gcc-\" -c gcc.c
stage1/gcc -c -g -O -Bstage1/ -I./config version.c
stage1/gcc -c -g -O -Bstage1/ -I./config obstack.c
stage1/gcc -g -O -Bstage1/ -o gccnew gcc.o version.o obstack.o
