Hi, I can't help you with gperf. I had the same problem. I posted the same kind of message and got replies from the person who wrote gperf. On the topic of "shared" and "private". I have (and am) implemented this exact same thing in gcc for the vax and the m68k running the V system (has threads). Of course, our implementations could be very different. I'm very interested in discussing this issue with you. I'll send you any changes that you would like to the compiler, assembler, or loader that you would like.
