Hi! Greetings from Singapore. We are a compiler team currently working on a
cross-compiler based on GNU CC. What we are doing now is to modify the current GNU
CC source code to produce i386 object code to be run on machines based on the SIGMA
project the our base company is now working on in Japan. Because we are required to
base the compiler output on the OTEC CC developed in Japan, We will need to modify
some of the options or add options that were not mentioned in the V1.35 GNU CC
documentation.
Since V1.35 is the most updated version we are holding now, we would like to know if
there are any major changes or additional features in the latest version of the GNU
CC so that we need not have to duplicate any work. Thus, we would like to obtain
information on the following:
1. Major updates on the current version of GNU CC.
2. Whether GNU CC can produce a listing file.
3. Any other documentation available other than 'Porting and Using GNU CC'
that will help us better in understanding the source code.
4. How to obtain the latest source code and documentation for gas.
5. Whether there is any mailing list on GNU that we can subscribe to ? If there is,
please send us a sample copy
