[net.games.rogue] Xorns/Umber Hulks: Tactics in Question

     Would somebody please tell me the best strategy for killing
Xorns and Umber Hulks?  Umber Hulks have been my biggest problem by
far, even with high strength and an armor class in the negatives.
I have been playing a version 3.4 for most of this year but have
recently started playing 4.22.  Will the added magic of this newer
version be enough to help me consistently defeat these troublesome
creatures?  Also, does 4.22 have scrolls of genocide?
