[net.games.rogue] Rogue 5.3 questions

[1] There is a string:

	    "He's dead, Jim"

    in the rogue 5.3 binary. Does anyone know what causes this message to
    appear?

[2] The documentation for 5.3 mentions that the Dungeon wizard's name is
    "Wally the Wonder Badger", and that "invocations should be accompanied
    by a sizable donative". But I've never been able to figure out how 
    invoke Wally. Any ideas?
